Update 6/18/25: Per LFP PD, suspect has been identified.

During last Saturday's "No Kings" rally, LFP Police and other agencies responded to a hit and run. After hitting another vehicle going the opposite direction on Ballinger Way NE, the driver of a stolen vehicle then fled on foot. According to LFP Police Chief Mike Harden, five LFP officers were assisting at an event at the University of Washington, prompting other agencies to respond and assist in apprehending the suspect.

It was thought that the suspect then entered an LFP residence on the west side of Ballinger Way at the 17800 block, prompting police to seal the area. After obtaining the homeowner's permission, they then searched the house assisted by their drone. It was heard over PD radio that they searched the crawl space with a drone and that there was blood in the stolen vehicle, so they sent the car for processing to help identify the perpetrator. The suspect wasn't found inside the residence.
