The Seattle City Light outage map only shows a small section of NE 203rd Ct without power, but an outage on 33rd Ave NE was observed earlier today. The outage map proved inaccurate, sometimes showing an area restored when power was still out.
Multiple power poles knocked down on 40th Pl NE proved challenging in restoring power to the LFP Town Center, which was finally restored around 3 PM Saturday after being out for several days. One of the crew members working there said he was from Spokane.
If you don't have one already and want to be prepared for the next power outage, consider getting a beefy power station like this or search for "power bank station" on Amazon or your favorite retailer. The author visited several hardware stores and noticed people pondering the flashlight sections, seeming baffled as to what to get, and of course, the stock was low and the prices high. Most of these power stations can hold a charge for a year or longer, so you can count on them being charged when needed. Also, when the news predicts a "Bomb Cyclone" or stormy weather, fill your gas tank and charge your EV before it hits to avoid potentially long waits at charging stations and other frustrations.
