Despite the original estimate of the highway opening on October 31st, WSDOT is now saying all lanes on SR 104/Ballinger Way NE will reopen by the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 7, following the installation of a 24-foot-wide culvert that carries Lyon Creek beneath the state highway. Work has been occurring 24/7 since September 4th for 8.71 million.
Sewer work on NE 185th Street and 35th Avenue Northeast will continue for much of November with overnight single-lane closures.
