I was surprised by the League of Women Voters stance on not including Ashton McCartney as a candidate in the debate tomorrow. She was chosen as a replacement for the open position and sworn in AFTER the deadline for King County Elections. That is why she has to be a write in candidate for Position 2.

I learned about this from a family member who was there. They were wearing uniforms indicating US Marshals (which has been doing immigration enforcement since January), and that they handcuffed a man on a step machine, and were attempting to instigate a more violent confrontation.
