At approximately 4:00 PM on October 6, 2025, police and fire responded to a solo Jeep rollover accident on 40th Place near Ballinger Way NE. LFP Chief Harden stated the female driver was transported to the hospital to be evaluated and for a mandatory blood draw. He further stated she was cited for DUI.

After I completed the very first Community Police Academy (I would highly recommend participating in this), I had the honor of doing my "ride along" with Sgt Walker. A true compassionate professional and an asset to our LFP police department.
