A group of 8 agents was observed entering Planet Fitness about 10:30 am on October 2nd, 2025, armed, masked, and driving an unmarked van. They reportedly left without any arrests. LFP Police Chief Mike Harden confirmed he received a call about the activity and surmised they were likely looking for someone. LFP Police were not involved; they were only made aware of the situation.

I learned about this from a family member who was there. They were wearing uniforms indicating US Marshals (which has been doing immigration enforcement since January), and that they handcuffed a man on a step machine, and were attempting to instigate a more violent confrontation. Our police just ignoring these fascists thugs is not good enough. The city needs to help us protect our community.
