According to Commander Ross Adams with LFP PD, "this is the information provided by our detective:
On 12/28 a man was found deceased in his home, located in the 4700 blk of NE 201st Pl in Lake Forest Park. A neighbor went to check on the man, saw him unresponsive on the floor of the residence, and also noticed evidence a fire had occurred but had since gone out. Police and fire units went inside and discovered the male subject deceased.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death of the decedent. We are not releasing his name and leaving that to the medical examiner’s office when they complete their cause/manner of death determination.
Foul play is not suspected at this time. Officers from the King County Sheriff's Office fire investigation unit, Black Diamond PD, and Snoqualmie PD assisted Lake Forest Park PD with today’s scene investigation.
The death investigation remains active at this time."
