To celebrate ShoreLake Arts' 35th anniversary, we're going back in time to celebrate how it all began!

Please join us for

ShoreLake Arts' Annual Gala for the Arts

May 18, 2024 | Shorewood High School Commons

Dinner & Live Auction 5pm-8pm | Dance Party 8pm-10pm

We'll travel back to 1989 when Madonna was on top of the charts and ShoreLake Arts (and Taylor Swift) were born.

Don your shiniest fabrics and tease up your locks for an evening of nostalgic revelry featuring a rockin wine and cocktail hour (5-6pm), a totally rad baked potato bar, games, a live auction, and a delicious dessert dash (6-8pm). This is a night for all 21 and over to enjoy and help raise money to ensure the future is bright for ShoreLake Arts supporting Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, and surrounding areas. Now that's heavy! Art Project!!

It wouldn’t be an art gala without some art! And you get to be a part of the fun. Last year artists started with a clear vase and turned them into some fantastic works of art to be raffled off at the gala. This year in honor of our 35th anniversary celebration, we are starting with a white plate.

Please email ShoreLake Arts by April 26th to arrange pick up for your white plate. We have a limited supply so it's first come, first served.

Paint it, decorate it as a commemorative plate, smash and rebuild it into something new (wind chimes?!?!), decoupage it with pictures or whatever you can imagine to turn it into your own work of art.

Final pieces should be dropped off the the ShoreLake Arts office between April 29th and May 10th to be raffled off at our gala on May 18th. Our theme is “Back to the Future” to remember all the great history of our organization, and to look forward to what’s to come for ShoreLake Arts. Don’t miss this chance to be a part of the fun and celebration. Get your tickets today and don’t forget to pick up your white plate!

ShoreLake Arts annual Gala raises critical funds to support arts programming, including arts education and free community arts & culture events like the Lantern Festival, Concerts in the Park, 6x6NW, and more. Join us for a fun celebration of the arts with your neighbors, colleagues, and new friends.

We look forward to seeing you there!

 Warmly,
