Making Government Work
- Limit the influence of money, power brokers, and foreign interests in American politics
- Make sure that every voice has a chance to be heard, and citizens can exercise their constitutional and democratic rights
- Empower a robust, effective, and efficient civil service to act on behalf of the people
- Hold public servants and elected officials accountable to the rule of law
- Support term limits for federal and state offices, not just the presidency
- End wars of conquest and occupation
- Empower Indigenous governance over their own communities
- Build a government that reflects the people it serves
Creating Economic Opportunity
- Make sure everyone pays their fair share of taxes
- Ensure fair pay for all workers
- Strengthen the social safety net and enable people to better manage risk
- Strengthen unions and worker protections against exploitation and AI displacement
- Bolster antitrust enforcement to ensure we have a competitive, vibrant economy
- Knock down the barriers that keep our communities from growing and moving
- Make education available at every stage of life, including specialized and vocational training
- Promote the value of work to include areas that have been traditionally devalued, including service industry jobs, child and eldercare, and teaching
Providing Human Security
- Protect personal data and privacy by preventing governmental, corporate, and foreign surveillance
- Combat the climate crisis to ensure the next generation inherits a habitable planet
- Promote safe communities and prevent mass shootings
- Ensure that every American has access to quality healthcare and wellbeing at every stage of life, regardless of race, creed, gender, or orientation
- Strengthen border integrity and create a clear pathway to citizenship for longstanding U.S. residents lacking documentation
- Make safe, dignified housing available and affordable
- Keep America beautiful by protecting the air we breathe, the land we live on, the water we drink, and the climate we depend upon
