Get A $5,000 Climate Change Mini-Grant

Have  an idea for a project that helps our community and the environment? Apply for an Environmental Mini-Grant. Your project could get up to $5,000! We are seeking projects that help prepare our community for climate change impacts like heat, wildfire smoke, and flooding.

Accepting project ideas through Saturday, January 31, 2026.

We will prioritize projects that:

• Address one or more of our focus areas listed below (view full details for each focus area and example projects)

1. Prepare our community for climate change impacts
2. Prevent and reduce waste
3. Protect and restore our natural habitats
4. Use less fossil fuels in our cars and buildings

• Come from people or community groups who haven’t gotten an Environmental Mini-Grant before
• Feature a partnership with a Shoreline organization, like a community group, school, neighborhood association, or business
