Tis the season… for sneaky thieves on the lookout for gift cards, cash, and anything else that looks like holiday magic in your mailbox or on your porch.
Keep the grinches away!
Protect your mail:
• Use a locking mailbox
• Collect mail daily and avoid leaving it out overnight
• Arrange for a neighbor to help or request a USPS mail hold when traveling
• Drop outgoing mail at the post office
Protect your packages:
• Have deliveries sent to your workplace or a secure smart locker
• Set up notification for your deliveries via phone or mail
• Schedule deliveries for when you’ll be home
• Work with neighbors to collect each other’s packages
• Set up security cameras outside your home
• Require a signature on deliveries
If you see suspicious activity, call 911 right away.
Moderate rain, with a high of 45 and low of 42 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Light rain during the morning, light drizzle in the afternoon, partly cloudy overnight.
$96K to lose a vote about emergency services. This should have been a slam dunk.
