As it rained on a paltry turnout for President Trump's birthday "perade" masquerading as a celebration of the U.S. Army's 250th birthday at taxpayer expense, more than 5 million people participated in over 2,100 rallies and protests nationwide on Saturday, June 14th, 2025.
LFP Police Chief, Mike Harden, who was monitoring the rally, estimated the crowd size at "about 1,000," further stating he wholeheartedly supports citizens' First Amendment right to gather peacefully. He also estimated the gathering was the largest in LFP history.
The crowd covered the triangle area near the intersection of Ballinger and Bothell Way NE, and the thick line of protesters extended from there to the Starbucks parking lot and about half that distance on the southeast side of Bothell Way. Also in attendance was Representative Shelley Kloba.
Also on site was LFP Police Commander Diego Zanella, who had this to say, "I was in the Italian military and we went a lot of places where this type of activity wouldn't be allowed. The fact that it's allowed here is one of my favorite things about America".
