Earthwise Architectural Salvage to open Fourth Retail Location in Kenmore, WA

Opening Saturday, June 24th, 2023, Earthwise Architectural Salvage expands its reach with a new location in Kenmore, furthering its mission to save reusable building materials from the landfill.
On Saturday, June 24th, 2023, Earthwise Architectural Salvage will have a grand opening for the new Kenmore location. The grand opening festivities will go from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, meet and greet with Earthwise employees andcommunity members, along with food, music, and a raffle to win various prizes. This event is free and open to the public.
In addition, the Kenmore location will have a Grand Opening Sale welcoming the neighborhood Saturday and Sunday, June 24th-25th from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
The opening of this new location in Kenmore will be a significant milestone for Earthwise’s legacy. Over 30 years ago, Earthwise's owner, Kurt Petrauskas, started Earthwise in an empty parking lot nearby in Kenmore. Petrauskas sold his salvaged goods out of a shed he built with reclaimed materials for four years before moving his operation to Seattle.
After opening multiple other locations around western Washington, Petrauskas was on the hunt for a fourth store. By pure coincidence, Earthwise found the perfect warehouse just blocks awayfrom the original location!
Th e new Kenmore warehouse will feature one-of-a-kind structures like a peacock pergola made from salvaged lumber for lighting, exclusively brand new inventory salvaged for Kenmore, a wide assortment of doors and windows spanning the decades, high-end kitchen cabinets, and more.
Obtaining the Kenmore location would not have been possible without winning a grant from the King County Solid Waste Division. With the grant, the tireless work of Earthwise’s team, and theyears of support of Earthwise customers will ensure a long-lasting stay in the city of Kenmore.
