Ballinger Way Closures July 7-20th

Starting Tuesday, July 7, 2026, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will begin daily closures of both directions of SR 104 / Ballinger Way NE from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday between NE 195th St and 35th Ave NE. These closures are expected to extend into the week of July 20, 2026.

Weekday closures of NE 185th St at the SR 104 intersection will also continue till construction is completed. 35th Ave NE south of SR 104 will be open to traffic.

Signed detours will guide vehicles and pedestrians around the closure, which supports sewer installation for the SR 104 Lyon Creek fish passage project. Local access will be permitted on SR 104 east of NE 195th St, and driveways in this area will remain accessible during the weekday closures.
