Ballinger Thriftway is giving shoppers two ways to support local neighbors this fall: a food drive benefiting Hopelink and a coat drive hosted by The Works.
Located at 20150 Ballinger Way NE in Shoreline, the grocery store is collecting donations to help local families facing food insecurity and keep community members warm this winter.
Bags of Local Hunger Food Drive
October 28 – November 27
Through the Bags of Local Hunger Food Drive, a $25 donation purchases a pre-made bag of food delivered to a local food bank.
Shoppers can also make cash donations at the checkout register, with other donation amounts available.
The food drive supports Hopelink's efforts to help individuals and families in need.
Fall Coat Drive
Ballinger Thriftway is also hosting a fall coat drive in partnership with The Works.
Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used coats to help keep neighbors warm this winter.
Every contribution helps, whether it's a food donation or a warm coat for someone in need.
