Crews will use pumps to draw down underground water levels ahead of sewer
installation later this spring along SR 104/Ballinger Way Northeast,
Northeast 185th Street and 35th Avenue Northeast.
All lanes will close on 35th Avenue Northeast south of the SR 104
intersection in Lake Forest Park from 8 p.m. Sunday, April 12, until 6
a.m. Monday, April 13, for ongoing sewer work.
Intermittent overnight closures also are possible from 8 p.m. Monday, April 13, to 6
p.m. Tuesday, April 14, on SR 104/Ballinger Way Northeast, 35th Avenue
Northeast and Northeast 185th Street.
Contractor crews are nearly finished installing a sewer bypass and temporary wells
that will lower the water table prior to the start of daytime sewer
installation later this spring.
This overnight work is tentatively scheduled to finish Monday morning, April
13. The closures planned overnight Tuesday, April 14, will only be
required if the bypass system is not fully operational.
This work supports construction on the SR 104 Lyon Creek fish passage project, which is scheduled to finish in mid-2026.
