Highland Terrace Principal Lara Drew shares, "Teacher Daisy provides the stable and caring support that her students need. She encourages with high expectations, approaches challenges calmly, and is ready to adapt and think on the fly in order to meet the needs of her students. She is a strong support and advocate, while also allowing students to grow in their independence. In addition to her full-time role, Daisy has been quick to step in and offer her support to students who receive tutoring services before school. With thoughtful collaboration with the student's team, she creates and provides intentional, personalized curriculum to the students. Through her joyful, nurturing approach, Daisy creates a learning environment where students can thrive."
