At approximately 4:50 PM, April 1st, 2026, shots in rapid succession rang out on a residential street, reportedly from a vehicle behind McDonald's in front of 14522 32nd Ave NE in Shoreline, just two blocks outside the LFP city limits. Shoreline Fire staged at McDonald's while Shoreline Police secured the scene and looked for anyone who may have been injured. After determining there were no victims, they began investigating. Radio traffic indicated they were using a canine to ensure they recovered all the casings.

According to Brandyn Hull, Communications Manager with King County Sheriff, "it appears to be a case of road rage that escalated to an assault. There were no injuries, just some property damage to a car and an apartment window. No arrests have been made, and this case is being actively investigated by detectives."

A few details are noted in the photographs; the casing markers go up to 13 and a camera was observed under the eave of the business adjacent to the casings in the street, pointed in the direction the vehicle would've traveled. There was no visible damage to structures or vehicles from what could be seen outside the crime scene tape. We've reached out to Shoreline PD for comment.
