The Sheridan Market & Roadhouse welcomes Rainbow City Jazz Band for the first time Tuesday August 18th!

Their song catalogue spans classic big band, blues, funk, and pop music, so make sure to bring your dancing shoes! It is a mission of the band to uplift music created by and for unrepresented communities such as the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, along with the classics we all know and love.

The Jazz Band is part of the greater umbrella organization of Rainbow City. They have groups including a concert band, orchestra, marching band, chamber ensembles, color guard/drum line, and Reign City Riot. They also perform at private events, fundraisers, and second lines.

Rainbow City’s mission is to create a diverse and inclusive environment for musical expression that promotes the equity and visibility of people in the LGBTQIA+ community.
