Join us for the Roosevelt Jazz Band I End of The Year Concert led by Hannah Mowry!

This is an all ages Event! 

There is a $10 Suggested Donation to support the Roosevelt Jazz Program.

Food and beverages will be available (this is how the Sheridan makes money as all Entry Donations go to the band!) so please come HUNGRY and Thirsty!

Jazz Band 1 is a group of advanced music students who uphold a long tradition of excellence in Big Band Jazz at Roosevelt High School. The band, directed by Hannah Mowry, is considered one of the nation’s top high-school jazz bands, and has been regularly selected to participate in the highly competitive Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition and Festival in New York City where the band has taken top honors.

The group has traveled to festivals and competitions throughout the western United States. The band is open to students in grades 9-12. Auditions for the upcoming school year are held in June at the end of the current school year. Students enroll in a class that meets daily, and attend extra rehearsals as required. PARKING IS PLENTIFUL BUT ESOTERIC. There are about 24 spaces right in front of the building, (OK to park on grass, pull ALL the way in as sometimes we need to stack cars!)
