The real facts. 1. There are no cost savings. NONE! 2. The offered tax cut is a spend down of existing reserve funds. They could do this today without the RFA it has nothing to do with the RFA! There are no service improvements. NONE! Governance will be regional instead of local. We lose our ability to tailor services to our community needs. There is nothing in the RFA for the citizens. Everything is working great. What are they trying to fix? Ask yourself why the firefighters are so vigorously supporting this measure. Self-serving?
