LFP Elementary Teachers To Stage Walkout Against Gun Violence

Teachers at LFP Elementary plan to stage a 15-minute walkout in front of the school starting at 9:00 AM this morning. Their aim is to show support for those affected by the Robb Elementary shootings and to stand up against gun violence. 

They deal with difficult situations every day involving student disruptions and behavior issues and parents aren't always supportive. Oftentimes, this is where future Salvador Ramos' of the world (the Robb Elementary shooter) begin to show signs of needing help and support. And they potentially face very real danger every day while being faced with staff and substitute shortages.
