Lake Forest Park News

A
championship parade for the Seattle Seahawks is scheduled for February
11 and will likely cause significant traffic congestion and transit
disruptions throughout the region, including impacts to riders traveling
to and from Lake Forest Park.

Bus
routes commonly used by Lake Forest Park residents—such as Routes 345,
346, 347, and 372—may experience reroutes, temporary downtown
terminations, crowding, and delays due to street closures along the
parade route. Riders transferring to light rail at Northgate or
Shoreline stations should also expect heavier-than-normal passenger
volumes. You are encouraged to check the King County Metro Service advisories page.

Residents
are encouraged to allow extra travel time, consider teleworking if
possible, and check day-of service alerts from King County Metro and
Sound Transit before departing.
