The YMCA has expanded their mental health services to include adults. They accept Medicaid, several private insurance plans, and financial aid using a sliding scale which allows everyone to have affordable and often free access to services. If you or your child are interested in this support, go here for more information. https://www.seattleymca.org/social-impact-center/services/counseling-se…
The Y has also started a drop in support group for parents to discuss the challenges of living in a pandemic and dealing with so many things being virtual now. The group is on Tuesdays at 5pm. Drop in weekly or as needed. More information and the zoom link can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/supporting-parents-and-guardians-through-v…
Little Free Pantries
Little Free Pantries are usually small cabinets (sometimes large) in front of someone’s home where neighbors can take food that they need, or leave food to share with others. If you need to stretch those grocery dollars, Little Free Pantries are a great resource. There are now 28 Little Free Pantries in the Shoreline/LFP area. Here is a newly updated map and a list of all them. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XXqqWiLlr2R3Q-LwX-hmfcTM2eCSWyZ-/view?…
