Many concerned citizens turned out yesterday along a section of N 175th St in Shoreline to protest the city's plan to remove 274 trees, 48 of which are on private property, while preserving just 191 trees. Save Shoreline Trees Co-chair Suzzane Tsoming helped organize the event and mentioned trees were removed about a year ago along N 145th St as well.
Lake Forest Park and Shoreline have very strict tree ordinances in place when it comes to homeowners trimming or removing trees. However, it would appear that Sound Transit doesn't listen to local politicians, governments, or citizens.

The fire chiefs' taxes paid explanation is correct. He does leave out the Medic One (EMS) levy. What is in error is his claim that the RFA will reduce next year's taxes. The RFA does nothing to reduce taxes.
Is there really such a disparity between the present financial conditions of Shoreline Fire and Northshore Fire? If so, vote No.
