Many concerned citizens turned out yesterday along a section of N 175th St in Shoreline to protest the city's plan to remove 274 trees, 48 of which are on private property, while preserving just 191 trees. Save Shoreline Trees Co-chair Suzzane Tsoming helped organize the event and mentioned trees were removed about a year ago along N 145th St as well.
Lake Forest Park and Shoreline have very strict tree ordinances in place when it comes to homeowners trimming or removing trees. However, it would appear that Sound Transit doesn't listen to local politicians, governments, or citizens.

Chris - You claim to have tried to reach the Planning Commission vice-Chair and got no response. I have no record of you attempting to contact me. No emails, not even in my Junk folder, no voice mails. Nothing. I am a volunteer. Show some class, correct your statement, or send proof.
