School board continues to incohesively bumble along

The good news is that despite having a forensic accountant tell them otherwise, the district didn't end up with a 1 million dollar surplus at the end of the year; they ended up with almost a 6 million dollar surplus largely due to teachers voluntarily cutting things out of their previously agreed to contracts. So why then continue to nickel and dime the support staff funding?

Additionally, a separate contract ("ELO") that funds outside school activities like marching band, drama productions, newspaper advisors, and the athletic directors, hasn't been agreed to either.
