Weekday 35th Avenue Northeast closures in Lake Forest Park start Monday, April 20, for sewer work

LAKE
FOREST PARK – Weekday closures on 35th Avenue Northeast begin Monday,
April 20, between State Route 104 and Northeast 184th Street for sewer
installation.

Contractor
crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation
will close both directions of 35th Avenue Northeast in this area from 7
a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for several weeks. Signed detours
will guide people around construction, and local access will be
permitted.

Similar daytime closures will happen on Northeast 185th Street and SR 104/Ballinger Way Northeast later this spring.

This work supports construction on the SR 104 Lyon Creek fish passage project, which is scheduled to be completed in mid-2026.
