🎄 Senior Christmas Drive – Community Help Needed!
We're putting together a Senior Christmas Drive, and we would love for our community to be part of it. Many seniors in our area have limited family nearby—or none at all—and something small and thoughtful can truly brighten their holiday season.
We are collecting:
• Handwritten cards and notes
• Kids’ drawings or handmade cards
• Cozy items like throw blankets, grippy socks, and warm accessories
• Puzzles, puzzle books, and large-print activity books
• Window clings / sun catchers
• Small practical items
• Anything comforting, personal, or uplifting
Items we for the safety of our seniors cannot include:
Food
Scented items
Candles
Used clothing
Bulky or heavy items
Technology
Even one heartfelt card can remind a senior that they’re not forgotten. Gifts don’t need to be big—just thoughtful.
For anyone who prefers to help from home, we’ve created an Amazon Wishlist for easy contributions to the gift bundles:

A Few Answers to Common Questions
This is our first year doing the Senior Christmas Drive, so some things will be a learning experience. Our goal is to put together gift bags for a minimum of 30 seniors—ideally more, depending on donations.
At this time, we aren’t sure whether we will need volunteers for the delivery days, but I work with seniors year-round and there are many ongoing volunteer opportunities. If you’re interested in helping seniors beyond the holidays, I’d love to hear from you.
We will be delivering gifts across several areas of north King and south Snohomish County.
How gifts will be distributed:
• First, we will fill the 30 spots available for seniors signed up to receive gift bags.
• If donations allow, additional bags will be created.
• After that, any remaining cards or artwork will be delivered to seniors who may have family but simply enjoy visitors and holiday cheer.
