Our Market Bucks program is a community-funded initiative that provides local seniors, families, and individuals with vouchers to purchase fresh, healthy food at the Lake Forest Park Farmers Market.
With the 2026 market season opening this Sunday, May 10 (Mother’s Day, 10 AM-2 PM), we invite you to support this important program!
Recent cuts to federal and state food assistance programs have made local efforts like Market Bucks more essential than ever. Last year, neighbors redeemed $5,890 in Market Bucks. With your help, we hope to sustain - and grow - that impact this season. Market Bucks are distributed through trusted local partners, including Center for Human Services, Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Senior Center, and the Shoreline School District.
Every gift, of any size, helps more neighbors access fresh, local, and nutritious food while also supporting our farmers.

YES! Very well said and well researched. Thank you.
After I completed the very first Community Police Academy (I would highly recommend participating in this), I had the honor of doing my "ride along" with Sgt Walker. A true compassionate professional and an asset to our LFP police department.
