You’re invited to our first-ever virtual Book Club! This year’s Luncheon Keynote speaker will be Matthew Desmond, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City. It transforms our understanding of poverty and economic exploitation while providing fresh ideas for solving one of 21st-century America’s most devastating problems. Its unforgettable scenes of hope and loss remind us of the centrality of home, without which nothing else is possible.
We will be hosting 3 independent virtual book club meetings with a guided discussion, and invite you to add your voice as we talk about how eviction, housing affordability and poverty impact our community.
Thursday, March 25th
Thursday, April 15th

*Please note, each discussion session will cover the entire book, so you only need to register for the one date that works best for you.
